What is the Root Cause Approach and the Roadmap to Optimal Health?
If you are browsing for answers, you or someone in your life is probably dealing with a “mystery condition”, that none seems to be able to figure out and resolve. Modern medicine is not designed to investigate the root causes of conditions, but tie together a list of symptoms to form a diagnosis. This might be an unpopular opinion, but in most cases a diagnosis will not bring you closer to health. Treatment with pharmaceutical drugs might bring you temporary relief by suppressing your symptoms, but it is like silencing the alarm during a raging fire. Investigating the root causes to your condition will not only give you answers, but also help to create a personalized plan to address everything that is standing in your way to become the healthiest version of yourself.
With the help of Bioenergetic testing we can do a thorough investigation, find out what is burdening your system and create a healing protocol that helps you experience significant results with ease.
When it comes to your personalized plan, there is always a certain strategic order to address underlying root causes. This strategic order has been established after plenty of research by leading experts in the field. Below, we will provide you with a brief explanation of these steps so you can understand more about the structure of your recommended protocol.
The steps of the Roadmap to Health:
Foundations/Drainage/opening detox pathways
Parasites
Mold and Heavy metals
Bacteria/Lyme and Coinfections
Viruses and Chemicals
Rebuild/Optimize
By following these steps, you ensure that your body will heal strategically, effectively, efficiently, and optimally.
As part of our approach, we guide our clients through what we call the “Roadmap to Health”. These are intentionally structured steps we utilize to support you along your healing journey by peeling back layers of dysfunction and toxicity.
Using bioenergetic testing, we can further identify specific pathogens, toxins and stressors and help tailor your experience with balanced protocol that is designed for you.
Below you find a brief explanation of each step of this Roadmap:
Foundations/Drainage/opening detox pathways:
The term “drainage” refers to the pathways in your body that are utilized to get rid of toxins, pathogens and waste. – much like draining the bathtub - These pathways need to be optimized to make it possible to eliminate symptoms and recover from chronic illness. Drainage pathways are:
liver/bile ducts
bowels/colon
kidneys
skin
lymphatic/glymphatic system
lungs
mitochondria/cells
If drainage pathways are compromised, the body will have difficulties detoxing. Drainage is the MOST IMPORTANT foundational step to any protocol as it helps to minimize potential detox side effects and ensure a smooth experience eliminating toxins and pathogens.
Signs of poor drainage:
Constipation
loss of appetite
bloated after meals
anxiety/depression
mood swings
hormonal imbalances
poor memory
brain fog
chronic fatigue
waking up between 1-4am
edema/swelling
swollen glands/lymphnodes,
yellowish skin, acne, rashes, eczema, hives, itchy skin
can’t sweat,
spider veins
cellulite
heart palpitations
morning stiffness
breathing issues, shallow breathing
frequent infections
Parasites:
Parasites are organisms that may be responsible for several symptoms. A parasite’s goal is to live a life undetected by your body (and standard medical testing)… and most of the time they succeed. Stool testing is not accurate and not all parasites reside in your digestive tract. Parasites can affect any organ or system in the body, there are cellular parasites that invade the cells or burrow themselves in tissue, wreaking havoc on your system.
Parasites have the ability to harbor mold, viruses, and heavy metals and they can hold onto these toxins multiple times their own body weight. With all this being said, focusing on eliminating parasites first will lower your toxin burden significantly. Some parasites can compromise the function of certain drainage pathways, therefore addressing them will allow drainage pathways to work even more optimally and making it easier for the immune system to function. For example, liver flukes can cause obstruction in liver and bile ducts, making it more difficult for your body to secrete digestive enzymes, process and eliminate toxins etc.
Mold and heavy metals:
Mold and heavy metals suppress the immune system and allow for other infections to take root, causing a cycle of illness. If mold and heavy metals resonate for you, we will help to eliminate them from the body. Evaluating the health of your home and/or workspace may be needed during this time.
Lyme & co-infections and Bacteria:
Undetected bacterial infections are a common root cause for many health issues. Bacteria are cleared during a later step of the Roadmap to health, because parasites can harbor bacteria as well. By eliminating parasites first, it is easier to avoid reinfection or recurring overgrowth. This strategic approach can be a game changer and bring you the lasting results you were looking for.
Viruses and Chemicals
Parasites and the biofilms built by certain bacteria can harbor chemicals and active viruses. By clearing parasites and bacteria first we can effectively eliminate viruses and chemicals at this stage.
Optimize/Rebuild
After pathogens and toxins are eliminated, we can optimize your health and build a strong immune system with supportive care, nourishing foods, emotional and nervous system work, and appropriate preventative measures. With this well-rounded approach you will be able to reclaim your health and live your life to the fullest.
