Hi there, I’m Maria!
I’m a Board-Certified Integrative Health Practitioner and Bioenergetic Specialist.
I dedicated myself to helping people, just like you: Someone who has been searching for better answers for a long time but has not yet found what they are looking for.
I firmly believe everyone deserves to thrive and live a full, healthy, balanced life on all levels. Your body’s ability to heal is far greater than anyone has permitted you to believe. I am here to guide you through the healing journey and give you the proper support that helps you trust the process and allow your body to do what it does best.
I have years of experience helping people overcome chronic disease and other health challenges. When it came to my family, my son, I was told by so many professionals, there is no “cure”. I was told we will have to live with the debilitating conditions for the rest of our lives. I refused to believe this!
My son has suffered from severe skin rashes, digestive distress, allergies, various toxicities, and infections since birth, including mold toxicity, heavy metals, intestinal dysbiosis, parasites, chronic viral and bacterial infections, hormonal and neurological imbalances, and so much more. I was desperate for solutions to help my son.

My 1 year old daughter had pretty severe eczema when we first met Maria. We had just been told by an allergy Dr. that her eczema wasn’t that bad and she would most likely grow out of it. Meet Monique
Hi, I'm Monique Cabrera. I am a holistic Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I am passionate about getting to the root cause of symptoms, dysfunction, and disease. When working together we will work towards eliminating toxicities and imbalances. I will support you with nutrition, lifestyle changes, supplements, and accountability, so you can reverse your symptoms and restore function to heal your own body.
My mission at Root Cause Energetics is to make you feel heard and supported. Everyone's health journey is bio-individual and personal. I am here to help your body heal by putting the pieces together and educating you on how your body works by identifying your stressors, toxicities, and nutritional deficiencies so that we can get your body functioning optimally.
I have my BS in Biology and did alternate route to become an educator. I transitioned to holistic nutrition in 2023. Long before this shift, I favored holistic wellness. After experiencing debilitating symptoms of blood sugar dysregulation and hormonal imbalances, fatigue, among a myriad of other symptoms for three years straight, I knew I had to figure out what was going on. I sought out many medical doctor specialists, functional doctors, chiropractors, and coaches to find that most could not help me as they could not find a reason to prescribe me any medication. I finally got to work with Maria and did bioenergetic testing. Within 4 months, I felt like I had gotten my life back. We got to the root cause, put in the work, and got amazing results! I knew I needed to share this with the world as so many people walk around silently suffering with chronic health issues. And now, I want to help YOU optimize your health so that you can live your best life!
